Data Collection
We collect absolutely zero personally identifiable information (PII) directly. CleanStopwatch does not require user accounts, does not set first-party tracking cookies, and does not log your activity.
When loading widgets, standard server-side CDN logging (provided by Cloudflare) records anonymous network metrics (such as IP address, user agent, and referrer URL) purely to prevent abuse and measure aggregate daily embed usage counts. These logs are not sold, shared, or used for profiling.
Local Storage
Timer preferences (theme, accent color, sound, duration, presets) are saved locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync presets via your Pro license key.
Third-Party Services
CleanStopwatch uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, security)
- Google AdSense (advertising)
- Polar.sh (payment and license key processing)
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since we collect no personal data directly, any such requests should be directed to the third-party services listed above.
